Dean's Prize for Excellence in Research

Dr. Chen Shen has been awarded the Dean's Prize for Excellence in Research in recognition of his outstanding doctoral dissertation.

2022 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad

Chen Shen has been awarded “the 2022 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad”. Only the best students without scholarships are chosen for this award granted by the Chinese Scholarship Council every year.

Journal of American Chemical Society

The results of a project focusing on designing ternary chalcogenides for photovoltaic applications lead by Dr. Tianshu Li and Dr. Chen Shen, have been published in the Journal of American Chemical Society.

A new article has been published in the publication Acta Materialia by Kun Hu, scholarship student in our group.

New Team Member in TMM

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mohammad Amirabbasi in our team. He will research intercalation of 3d magnetic atoms in transition metal chalcogenides. Mohammad has worked as a post-doc at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and at the IFS in Linköping, Sweden.
