Chen Shen has been awarded “the 2022 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad”. Only the best students without scholarships are chosen for this award granted by the Chinese Scholarship Council every year.
We congratulate Chen Shen who finished his PhD studies in December 2022 with “summa cum laude”. The award is a great honour as only non-scholarship PhD students or Post-doctoral researchers with an outstanding performance are considered. Only the best 650 students in the world are selected every year for this Chinese government award.
