Competence Centre for Materials Characterisation

A worldwide unique ADvanced Oxide Molecular Beam Epitaxy (ADOMBE) system for complex materials. The self-built system contains the latest generation of MBE equipment and is specifically designed for multi-cation materials. The goal is to apply the successes of semiconductor MBE to more complex functional materials. The system serves as a special synthesis method for novel thin film matter beyond the thermodynamic equilibrium.
