As many as six members of CRC FLAIR gave talks at this year's solid state ionics conference, which took place July 15-19, 2024, in London.

Four FLAIR-PIs and two junior FLAIR-members presented their work at the large conference:

Roger de Souza (B05 ) gave a plenary talk entitled “Look Both Ways Before Crossing: Views from the Intersection of Experiment and Simulation”.

Karsten Albe (A01 , A02 , B01 ) talked “On the role of dislocations in chemomechanical degradation of layered transition-metal oxides: A computational study”.

Oliver Clemens' (A05 ) lecture was about “Pushing to the Limits – Effect of Uniaxial Stack Pressure on the Performance of All-Solid-State Fluoride-Ion-Batteries”.

Anke Weidenkaff (A03 , A04 ) talked about “Regenerative Sustainable Materials for a Circular Economy”.

Savita Chaoudhary (A07 , Z02 ) presented “Operando XPS studies of electrodes and electrolyte/electrode interfaces of solid oxide electrochemical cells”.

Yue Liu (A07 , B08 ) talked on “Charge Transition Level of Co2+/3+ in Perovskite Oxides”.
