Graduate School workshop in Sendai, Japan

The international Joint Graduate Program in Materials Science (GP-MS) organized its 5th symposium at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. Some sessions were organized by the graduate students to train them as chair persons in international conferences. M.Sc. Yuki Yamamoto who studied within his PhD course half a year at TU Darmstadt in the ATFT group about novel superconducting and pnictide thin films, invited Thorsten Schneider and Lambert Alff to hold lectures about antiferroelectric thin films and memristors in his session at the meeting. We are looking forward to intensifying further the Japanese German relations between the materials science related departments at TU Darmstadt and Tohoku University. お疲れ様でした.
