Congratulations to Georgia Gkouzia winning the best poster award at the MMM 2022 (Magnetism and Magnetic Materials) in Minneapolis.

Her work on “Element specific magnetocrystalline anisotropy of Sm-Co thin films” has been performed within the Collaborative Research Center CRC/TRR 270 HoMMage (Hysteresis Design of magnetic materials for efficient energy conversion) led jointly by TU Darmstadt and University Duisburg-Essen (UDE)). The project is a fruitful collaboration between two groups at TU Darmstadt (Lambert Alff/Hongbin Zhang) and two groups at UDE (Katharina Ollefs/Heiko Wende), as well as the LBNL and Ernst Ruska Centre .
