Feature article: Fermi level engineering as design strategy for electroceramics
August 14, 2023
The Fermi level as a descriptor for the defect chemistry of oxidic electroceramics: how it can describe the compensation of dopants and the resulting materials properties.
Publication on the stability of the OER-active phase of NiOx-based electrocatalysts now online
July 10, 2023
Can the NiOOH active phase of NiOx-based electrocatalysts be studied by ex situ techniques? To adress this question, the time-stability of the phase was studied by combining operando Raman spectroscopy with ex situ x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Investigation of defect formation at InP surfaces and their influence on the surface reactivity with water chosen as 'Editor's Choice'
October 17, 2022
Our recent publication about defect formation and modelling of electrochemical interfaces has been chosen as ACS Editor's Choice in addition to the publication in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and is therefore freely available for a promotional period of six months.
