Nonmetallic- Inorganic Materials

Since 1994, the Division Nonmetallic-Inorganic Materials has been researching lead-free piezoceramics and their use as energy storage, dislocation-based functionality of ceramic materials and their mechanical properties.

Please note:

The group has been led for more than 30 years by Prof. Jürgen Rödel, who is going to retire by Sept. 30th, 2024. Therefore, he cannot accept applications for positions as PhD student or postdocs. The search for his successor is currently ongoing.
