We are pleased to announce that M.Sc. Wanxin Chen, a PhD student in our research group, was awarded the “Best Poster Award” for his poster presentation at the IUTAM Symposium on Chemo-Mechanics (https://chemomechanics.web.ox.ac.uk/home), Oxford, June29 -July 2 (2025).

The award was presented in recognition of his poster titled “Deciphering the interplay between wetting and chemo-mechanical fracture in lithium-ion battery cathode materials”, which showcases the fundamental coupling mechanisms of liquid electrolyte wetting and fracture evolution, and their influences on macroscopic battery performances.
