Our scientific program within this project is focused on 3D electron diffraction and 4D STEM techniques like scanning precession electron diffraction. To support its development and application, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HiWi who offers support with some of the programming tasks, including code implementation.

Tasks:

• Dedicated tasks according to ongoing software development in Python.

• Improvement of the existing code base and implementation of new ideas.

Requirements:

• You are a Python enthusiast with programming skills.

• You have interest in new, upcoming electron microscopy techniques and dedicated sample preparation.

• You have education in physics, materials science, chemistry or related field.

• Experience with electron microscopy or crystallography is very welcome, but not necessary.

Our offer:

• You have the freedom to perform assignments in flexible working hours.

• You have a chance to perform tasks creatively, brainstorm innovative concepts and explore different solutions to scientific tasks.

• You are exposed to cutting edge research insights.
