The 31st Erfinderlabor (“Inventor's lab”) of the Zentrum für Chemie (Center for Chemistry, ZFC) takes place from May 2nd until May 6th at the TU Darmstadt Institute of Materials Science. 16 highschool students take a deep-dive into materials research tackling crucial questions on the path towards a sustainable energy supply.
In four groups, the participants tackle the following subjects:
- Sustainable Cooling with Magnets?
- Batteries or Hydrogen?
- Can Solar Cells clean themselves?
- Towards Next-Generation Batteries
