hobit talks, the online event for career and study orientation for the greater Darmstadt area, will take place on January 22 and 23, 2025.

Over 50 training occupations from the region and over 150 degree courses from Darmstadt and neighboring university cities will be presented on these two days. Teachers and trainers will report live on the content, requirements and prerequisites of the various training courses. Students and trainees will share their personal experiences and give an insight into the typical everyday life of a student or trainee. There will also be tips on how to apply and information on bridging and orientation offers for those who are (still) undecided.

Of course, there is also all the information about studying materials science. Students and employees of our institute are represented in the following talks:

  • 17:30: Mathematik, Physik, Chemie, Materialwissenschaft – Naturwissenschaften im Vergleich
  • 17:30: „Nachhaltigkeit – alle reden drüber, wir studieren es“
