Most of the members of the delegations were undergraduate and graduate students who learned about research, studies, teaching, and the academic culture of materials science in Darmstadt. The program included presentations of the individual research groups with their current research topics and a tour of the materials science laboratories – but of course also a visit to a Darmstadt local brewery with dinner! We hope to further intensify the interactions between our universities, both in teaching through student exchanges and in research through joint projects on the most innovative topics in materials science.
