LakeShore Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM)

A vibrating-sample magnetometer (VSM) is a scientific instrument that measures magnetic properties. Simon Foner at MIT Lincoln Laboratory invented VSM in 1955 and reported it in 1959.
