A simple tool for clearly planning and changing the study plan. A manual/description can be found under the tool. Please read it!

Please do not use this tool as the only source for your choice of electives!

Always refer to the documents “Approved Elective Courses” and “Guidelines for Elective Courses” on this page of the Office of Student Affairs.

It is your own responsibility to check whether your desired elective modules are approved by the Office of Student Affairs as you want them to be, regardless of what this planner claims!

Please note that the modules from the lists will always be inserted into the semester in which you have pressed the “+” button. This will certainly not always coincide with the actual offers of the modules! So please check if the desired module is offered in the semester to which you add it.

How to use/Description

This planner is designed to help you get and keep an overview of your studies.

  • The individual modules can be moved by drag and drop. In doing so, courses that have exams only in the winter semester, for example, can also only be dragged into such (1st,3rd,5th, … semesters). The same applies to summer semesters.
  • Modules can be added using the buttons at the bottom of the columns. Modules can be selected from lists of approved technical-scientific or non-technical-scientific electives or all necessary information can be entered manually to add a module. The respective modules are always added to the semester in which the button was pressed. If this is e.g. a winter semester, the added modules can only be moved to other winter semesters.
  • With a right click on a module it can be removed. There is no undo button!
  • The Reset button can be used to delete all changes to the planner and the planner will be restored to its original state.
  • The planner automatically stores data locally on your device, which means that the browser remembers what state the planner was in when you left the page and reconstructs this state the next time you visit the page. The Web Storage API is used for this.
  • Using the two download buttons, the current state of the planner can be downloaded either as a PNG (limited resolution) or as a vector graphic (SVG). The latter can be opened in the browser.
  • At the bottom of the table there is a box with different information about the required or reached CP. The information in the box adjusts when adding or removing modules.
Please check these values yourself and do not blindly rely on the planner!

Download the planner

Since the planner is basically just an HTML file including Javascript, it can be easily downloaded and used locally with the same functionality. This can help if the view on this website is limited. However, you don't get more functionality that way and it also misses out on possible improvements that the student council will incorporate over time.

For those who are interested, this is also a way to view the source code.

See the links below to open the Planer in its own window/tab. There you can press “Ctrl + S” to save the page as html.
