It is a big pleasure to congratulate our dear colleague Aldin Radetinac to his doctorate defense. His work entitled: Thin film growth and investigation of the application potential of SrMoO₃ was awarded the highest honors (summa cum laude) by the doctoral commission (December 2nd, 2016). The defense was followed by a perfectly prepared party with delicious home-made food. We thank Dr. Radetinac not only for this memorable day, but for his outstanding contributions to the group. We are happy that Aldin continues to work in our group driving his scientific work more into the realm of application within a 1,5-million Euro project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) through the program VIP+. Aldin’s publication list includes more than 16 entries and one patent pending. Congratulations and all the best!
