Congratulations to Dr.-Ing. Patrick Salg on his excellent disputation. In his doctoral thesis Patrick investigated materials and devices for components in the gigahertz range (mobile communications). For his scientific work, Patrick has been awarded e.g. the “APL Materials Excellence in Research” prize 2019. Dr.-Ing. Holger Maune from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology was the external guest in the examination committee.

We would like to thank Patrick for his time in the ATFT Group, the excellent publication performance and presentations at international conferences. We wish Patrick good luck for the future!
