We congratulate our colleague Dr. Philipp Kehne to his successful doctoral defense (15th October 2019). The title of his PhD thesis is Electrochemical investigations of sodium solid state batteries using sodium cobaltate thin film cathodes. As external examiners Helmut Ehrenberg and Horst Hahn from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology joined the defense committee.

We thank Philipp for his time in the ATFT group, his excellent publication record with three first author publications (see list of publications) and several talks at international conferences including an invited talk at the European Materials Research Society (EMRS) spring meeting in 2017 in Strasbourg.

We wish Philipp a bright and solid future for his further career advancements.
