Teaching

In the compulsory area of teaching, lectures and exercises are given on the fundamentals of phase formation and transformation (including phase diagrams), on the mechanical properties of structural materials, and on the basic mechanisms of deformation and fracture. Special courses exist on solidification and heat treatment, quantitative microstructural analysis and high temperature materials. Intensive practical courses are offered at all levels for in-depth study and practical illustration. - Current scripts for the courses of the Materials Science program are provided in the current TU Da course catalogue.
