Darmstadt can be reached on the highways A5 and A67. Turn off the highway at exit “Darmstadt/Griesheim” and follow the road marker direction city, then direction “Böllenfalltor” or “TU Lichtwiese”. A few paid parking spaces are available along Eugen-Kogon-Straße. We recommend arriving by public transport.

To get to Campus TU Lichtwiese by public transport, take the bus to TU Lichtwiese/Campus, or the Odenwaldbahn (VIAS) to Darmstadt TU-Lichtwiese Bahnhof.

From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (main railway station)

Take bus tram line 2 towards TU Lichtwiese to the final stop at TU Lichtwiese/Campus (on Saturday and Sunday the final stop of tram line 2 is Merck-Stadion) The trip takes approximately 17 minutes. Another option is bus line L (TU Lichtwiese/Campus) from the stops Luisenplatz or Schloss.

From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main railway station)

Every two hours, respectively at each hour in the afternoon and early evening RB 82 (Odenwaldbahn) travels directly from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to Darmstadt TU-Lichtwiese station in approximately 25 minutes.

The best way to reach Darmstadt is to take the HEAG Air Liner (a direct bus to Darmstadt Central Station). It departs from Terminals 1 and 2. Journey time: about 25 minutes.
