Magnetic Materials via High-Pressure Torsion Deformation of Powders

High-pressure torsion pressing represents a novel process for the production and processing of magnetic materials that yields remarkable magnetic properties. In this publication, we review recent results published in the literature obtained by high-pressure torsion pressing of soft and hard magnetic materials, focusing on powder as the starting material. In addition, we highlight the various magnetic interaction mechanisms of magnetic composites produced by high pressure torsion pressing of powdered starting materials.
