Characterization of additively manufactured lattice structures

New publikation in Materials & Design

2023/03/22

Additive manufacturing enables the fabrication of complex geometries which would not be possible to produce via conventional means. Lattice structures are one such example. Due to their low density and good specific properties, they are of interest for lightweight construction applications and composites, i.e. sandwich panels. In this publication the influence of process parameters and heat treatment on the microstructural and mechanical properties of lattices manufactured from AlSi10Mg was investigated.
