First Prize at the Crystal Clear Science Video Competition goes to Darmstadt Materials Scientists

Margarida Barroso and Rishabh Kundu, PhD and M.Sc. student at the TU Darmstadt Institute of Materials Science, respectively, have won the video competition “Crystal Clear Science” of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) 2023 with their short film Green Ceramic Recycling.

The video not only manages to explain a Materials Science research topic and its challenges in a way that is understandable to a younger audience. It also emphasizes the role Materials Research plays in facilitating a sustainable everyday life.
