Turkish delegation at FM

A Turkish delegation from the “ Enhancing the Rare Earth Elements Research and Innovation Capacity of Türkiye” project visited the Functional Materials department at the Technical University of Darmstadt. This visit is part of a project co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Türkiye. The delegation includes members from Munzur University's Rare Earth Elements Application and Research Center (MUNTEAM), the Mineral Research and Exploration Agency, and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. A productive meeting took place between the Functional Materials team, led by Prof. Oliver Gutfleisch, and the Turkish delegation. We discussed potential bilateral cooperation along the rare earth permanent magnet value chain, both in research and education.
