Functional Materials for TU charity run

Funded by the Material Science Professors, also runners and walkers from Functional Materials ran to collect money for charity. The donations will go to students facing financial distress due to the coronavirus pandemic. The run was carried out on December 6, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The participants had two hours to collect their kilometers individually and proved their accomplishment by an uploaded picture. For each kilometer covered, at least 2 € were contributed to the TU Sozialfonds.

In total 7718,77 kilometers and 27.064,34 € were collected from 668 participants and 795 patrons. Also Functional Materials members defied the foggy cold weather and contributed with roughly 70 kilometers in total.
