MGK Visiting Funds
Junior FLAIR PhD candidates, postdocs, and associated members can apply for mobility funding to support international research visits or to invite guest collaborators. Funding typically covers travel and accommodation costs.
Application Process for Outgoing Visits:
Please send the following information to juniorflair@mfm.tu-… in one PDF file:
1. A full curriculum vitae
2. Copies of university degrees
3. Documents confirming current education/employment status
4. A brief research outline, which includes
- topics and their relevance to CRC FLAIR
- time plan
- requested funds (travel expenses; daily allowance for a stay, depending on the length of stay and salary at the home institute)
- signature of the supervisor in the home institute
- signature of the host in CRC FLAIR
MGK Guest Funds
Excellent PhD students are invited to visit our lab for short research stays ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months. The program offers funding for young researchers from around the world to conduct research visits within the CRC research groups.
Application Process for In-coming Visitors:
1. A full curriculum vitae
2. Copies of university degrees
3. Documents confirming current education/employment status
4. A brief research outline, which includes
- topics and their relevance to CRC FLAIR
- time plan
- requested funds (travel cost; 80 EUR allowance per day for a stay shorter than 2 weeks, up to 60 EUR allowance per day for a stay longer than 2 Weeks, depending on the salary in the home institute)
- signature of the supervisor in the home institute
- signature of the host in CRC FLAIR
