We are excited to announce the third CRC junior-FLAIR Summer School, which will be held from October 3rd to October 10th, 2025, in the beautiful alpine village of La Clusaz at Chalet Giersch, France.

Organized by the Junior-FLAIRistas, this year’s program is designed as an interactive workshop with a strong focus on hands-on data analysis. Participants will engage with experimental and theoretical techniques central to FLAIR research, including the synthesis, characterization, and modeling of BaTiO₃ samples with various doping elements and concentrations.

The Summer School aims to strengthen collaboration between PhD students and Postdocs across various research fields and application clusters. Scientific sessions will be complemented by interactive, peer-led workshops, where Postdoctoral researchers will share valuable insights on key academic milestones. These sessions will cover topics such as:

• Preparing for the PhD defense

• Navigating funding landscapes

• Writing successful grant proposals

• Planning careers in academia and industry, including strategies for job applications and interviews

In addition to its focus on scientific and professional development, the Summer School will provide ample opportunities for networking and informal exchange in a supportive and inspiring setting.
