Overview

The data management project Z05-INF acts as backbone to generate a common integration of theo¬retical and experimental data in the CRC. Management of research data and a sample library for exchange between projects, for publication and future external use is provided and maintained. Uniform descriptors for different types of data, e.g. file formats and semantic description, are continuously developed. In connection with the NFDI, we aim to establish a generic data infrastructure for defects and microstructure. The aim is further data utilization in the context of advanced machine learning techniques, which are prepared by the CRC from the start and realized more profoundly in the second/third period.
