Overview

Besides a profound scientific education, the Integrated Research Training School Z04 aims at a multifold qualification of students for future project and management tasks in an academic environment as well as in industry. In order to achieve this goal, the students gain not only interdisciplinary expertise in the field of functional oxide but also fundamental soft skills including data-, time- and project-management, independence, and social / leadership competence, making use of the high-level facility and support of the involved participating institutions. In particular, regular doctoral seminars, highly interdisciplinary lectures and lab-courses, workshops and summer schools are available to and partially organized by the students.
