CRC FLAIR wants to promote young female researchers by offering a Research Fellowship Award. We are looking forward to your application if you are a postdoc or a young professor in the field of Oxide Electroceramics, and interested in developing future research fields by collaborating with our CRC FLAIR.

FLAIR Research Fellow Award 2024

The FLAIR Management Board is happy to announce that the FLAIR Research Fellow Award 2024 goes to Dr. Sasipohn Prasertpalichat, Assist. Prof. at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Naresuan University, Thailand

The search for new lead-free piezoelectrics represents one of the important challenges for future electronic applications. Sasipohn visited the group of Jurij Koruza at TU Graz in December 2024. During her stay at the TU Graz, she investigated the role of chemical doping in one of the promising lead-free piezoceramics, namely Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-BaTiO3 . Specifically, she looked at the fundamental relations between various doping strategies and the material´s functional response under resonance conditions. The latter is one of the core research fields of Jurij Koruza´s group within the FLAIR collaborative project.
