FM group at MaWi study information day

On 23 October, the second study information day for interested students took place on the 2nd floor of the MaWi main building.

The Functional Materials group showed the students the magnetic cooling demonstrator and explained them how it works and the advantage of magnetic cooling over the conventional gas-compression-based cooling technologies.

We wish the students can develop strong interests in materials science and are passionate about magnetic cooling used for building a “greener” world.
