PhD Thesis:

Defects in Austenitic Steels and Hard Metals - A DFT-based Study, 2020, KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Research interests:

DFT-based ab-initio simulations; Permanent magnetic materials

Research projects:

Understanding and designing 4f-3d permanent magnets

Current project:

Currently, I am working on the rare-earth based permanent magnets. I use computational tools to understand their intrinsic magnetic properties, for example, magnetic anisotropy energy and critical magnetic transition temperature.

Experience:

I was mainly working on the understanding of mechanical properties of austenitic steels during my doctoral study using DFT-based simulations (VASP and EMTO). In addition to that, I am trying to incorporate larger scale computational tools, e.g., Monte Carlo (UppASD), to gain a more complete picture of my research subject.
