Dr. Chen Shen selected as Young Scientist

73rd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

2024/03/21

Congratulations to Chen Shen to the nomination as Young Scientist for participating in the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting at the end of June.

Chen Shen

We are very pleased that Chen Shen has been selected as Young Researcher and is invited to the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting from 30 June to 5 July. He completed his PhD studies in our group Theory of Magnetic Materials (TMM) in December 2022 and continued working with us as a postdoc researcher until September 2023 before moving on to the University of Wisconsin.

He is still involved in many of TMM's research projects as a guest scientist based in the USA and is in active dialogue with our group.

With his nomination as Young Scientist to the 73rd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting Chen will meet Nobel Laureates from all over the world and be given the opportunity to exchange ideas on the foundations and future of physics. This year the focus of the conference is on solutions for the future of energy supply; the potential and impact of artificial intelligence and a broader discussion of basic and applied research on quantum physics.

We hope that this conference will inspire him to many interesting projects and we look forward to continue cooperating closely with him.
