We are pleased to welcome Dr. Liang Fei who has joined our team on 18 March 2021 for 2 years to do research on High-throughput Design of Materials for Non-linear Optoelectronic Applications.
Dr. Liang Fei is highly specialised in this field and with the help of the Lichtenberg II high performance supercomputer he will perform exhaustive high-throughput screening on more than 130.000 (3D) and 6.300 (2D) materials in established databases. We expect that with this research significant breakthroughs in the design of non-linear optoelectronic materials will be achieved. Dr. Liang Fei has been awarded a fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt foundation for the duration of 24 months.
