The primary focus of this course is to allow users to understand and interpret XRD data by using Rietveld refinements. This course will use the FullProf program suite to carry out data handling and refinements. For the planning of the course, I have assumed that no one participating in the course knows about Rietveld refinements and the FullProf program. We will build up the necessary knowledge step-by-step and keep the theoretical explanations as small as possible. Instead, I prefer to use real examples to maximize the practical hands-on experience on the refinements.
