  • Point defects: thermodynamics and structure of intrinsic and extrinsic point defects
  • Plasticity: stress-strain relations, Dreibereichskurven
  • Line defects: dislocation theory, dislocation detection
  • Interaction of point defects and impurity atoms with dslocations: Klettern von Versetzungen, Mischkristallhärtung
  • Flächendefekte: Grain boundaries and surfaces, domain walls
  • Interactions of point defects with Flächendefekte, interactions of dislocations with grain boundaries: Feinkornhärtung
  • Volumendefekte: Formation and properties of precipitants.
  • Interactions of point, line and Flächen defects with precipitants
  • Correlation between defects and mechanical/electrical/etc material properties
